Thankfully, Prospector Ranch is located in Ventura County, which gets a lot of the marine breeze, making it a cooler area than other parts of California.
For those in the mood to explore SoCal and take a weekend getaway to somewhere cooler, check us out! We have two unique AirBnb lodgings for you to stay in: a vintage 1972 Airstream and a 1800’s replica Luxury Conestoga Covered wagon.

If you want to rent some electric bikes, stop by Trek Row House. They have a location in Westlake Village.
For those who enjoy shopping, there are many places close by to explore and find unique treasures.
Ventura Harbor Village is one such place near us you can visit, having many shops, ranging from seaside treasures to hats, art and clothes. For Harry Potter fans, make sure to stop by Hats Unlimited. If you’re lucky, you might see a replica of the sorting hat on display.
The Promenade is another place where you can explore different shops with special items to find. Located in Westlake Village, it’s a beautiful outside mall where you can leisurely stroll and enjoy the sights while shopping.

Santa Monica Pier -There are lots of places to eat on the Santa Monica pier. A lot of the places are family friendly, so if you’re taking your kids, it’s a great place to go.
