We Had Kittens! Prospector Ranch Updates

~ Natalia Radcliffe ~

Things have been happening at Prospector Ranch!

We’ve been busy, busy, busy with welcoming a multitude of customers, preparing our new Conestoga Covered Wagon for official AirBnb status, talking with a well-known veterinarian right here in Thousand Oaks, and much more.

Here are some of the highlights:

We have been busy getting our Conestoga Covered Wagon up and ready to go for guests! We are hard at work making it a high end, unique place to stay when visiting or vacationing in Southern California. Our goal is to have it up and running by the fall. Read our blog and follow us on Instagram and Facebook to stay updated!

We were featured in the July 2022 issue of the Conejo Valley Lifestyle Magazine! Our Children to Love Fundraiser we had back in May was a smashing success, and garnered attention from the magazine, who decided to write a small piece on us. Make sure to take a look at our blog page for more pictures, stories, and information from the fundraiser!

Also in July, we had several location scouts come out, including one for a Hilton Hotel commercial. Keeping our fingers crossed on that one! In addition, we were the venue of a RV Trailer show that was three days long, shooting from July 11 through July 13.

Our cat Cleo gave birth to kitties! Born in June, we have two healthy kittens who are now just starting to learn to run around the house. Oh, the joys of taking care of babies! Keep an eye out for a future blog with more pictures and stories!

We also got the chance to talk with well-known local veterinarian Dr. Robert Miller. He had a lot of fascinating things to say about his time in the vet world and working with horses. A joy to talk to and a wealth of information, we can’t wait to share what we learned and discussed! Watch for our story coming soon!

One of the best things about this business is that you never know what tomorrow will hold. Are we going to be scheduling a photoshoot? Working with a film crew? Greeting our new AirBnb guests? Every day is fresh, with new people to meet, and new projects to accomplish.

One thing’s for sure: it’s never boring around here.
