~ Natalia Radcliffe ~ We currently have two AirBnbs up and running at Prospector Ranch! Depending on your fancy, we offer a vintage 1972 Ambassador Airstream or a blast from the past in a Conestoga covered wagon. Each of the AirBnbs offers its own distinctive style and features.

1. A Family friendly vacation you seek?
Both our Airstream and covered wagon are family friendly, so bring your kids! Our Airstream fits up to 2 people, and our covered wagon fits up to 4. If you want to reserve both for the weekend, you can bring up to 6 people for a fun vacation just a short drive away from shops, the beach, and beautiful nature trails.
2. Pet friendly?
Our Airstream is pet friendly, so if you and your beloved four-legged friend are looking for a vacation together, we’ve got you covered. Plus, there are lots of hiking trails and pet friendly beaches nearby to complete your vacation.
3. Seeking new friendships? (the four-legged type)
While you are staying at Prospector Ranch, you have the opportunity to meet our mule, ponies and goats who call Prospector Ranch home. Especially for those living in LA or other suburbs or cities, there aren’t a lot of opportunities to interact with animals you typically see in more rural places. Interacting with and petting animals have been scientifically proven to help reduce stress and make you feel calmer and happier. You have the opportunity to do so during your stay! Our mule, 3 ponies and 2 goats all have different personalities, and you’ll be able to get to know each one. Who knows, you might make a new friend.
Prospector Ranch is located in Westlake Village in Ventura County. If you know where California Lutheran University is, it’s not too far from the campus. For those that live in Southern California, it’s a reasonable drive from wherever you are, only a few hours at the most.
