Prospector Ranch’s 3 Tips for a Successful New Year!
~ Natalia Radcliffe ~
Another year has come and gone, and a new one starts again! Welcome, 2023!
We have so much to be thankful for that 2022 has given, and we are excited to see what 2023 has to offer.
Looking ahead, we have many goals and resolutions for the new year.
For instance:
We want to get our Conestoga Covered wagon up and running as our newest high-end AirBnb!
We also want to expand our business as a venue for filming, photography, and events. Our beautiful property is perfect for any scene in a western film, photoshoot, or rustic-themed event.
In addition, owner Meggan also wants to participate in fundraiser/charity events that speak to her. Giving back is an integral part of who she is, and she wants Prospector Ranch to reflect that.
What are some of your goals and resolutions for 2023? Take a moment to think about it.
Have some?
Okay. Now, another question: how confident are you that you are going to achieve them?
We all have made New Year goals and resolutions that somehow never came to pass. We think, “Yes, I’m going to do this thing”, or “I’m going to accomplish that thing this year." But, when the next year comes, it hasn’t been accomplished. We at Prospector Ranch want to help you achieve your New Year goals!
For starters, we are a great location for anyone who wants to travel in the New Year. You can check off one of your new year goals by staying at our comfortable and affordable, yet also chic Airstream at Prospector Ranch, our condo in Montana, or our house in Arizona!
If you have a resolution or goal to film a project you’ve been meaning to accomplish, a photo shoot you’ve wanted to do, or an event you’ve wanted to hold, we can also help you with that! Our venue is the perfect spot for a beautiful rustic background.
But, first and foremost: how to follow through with your goals or resolutions? That is the question. To answer that, we have a few tips for you:
1. Make sure your goal/resolution is realistic, something attainable.
If it’s not, then who can blame you if you can’t accomplish it?
2. Building upon the first tip, break apart your goal/resolution into bite-sized pieces.
What can you do each day to get one step closer to your goal/resolution? Making something you want to accomplish more manageable will give you a better chance of accomplishing your goal/resolution. Think of ways in which you can do this for your own new year resolution.
3. Think positively.
Formulating your goal/resolution as “Don’t do this,” or “Avoid doing that,” already gives your goal/resolution a negative vibe. We’re less likely to be motivated to do something when we look at a task or project in a negative light.
Ugh, not do something? Chances are, you want to do that thing you’re telling yourself not to do. Instead, spin it around. Put a positive spin on it.
“I’ll do more of this,” or “I’ll take 5 minutes very day to do that.”
Doesn’t that sound more like something you want to do?
May these tips guide you for a happy and successful New Year.
2023, here we come!
